Vyapar is delivered as apps for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS, and its plans are priced by device type (desktop, mobile, or both).

Billux runs in any browser — one shop licence covers every device your staff log in from (2 users on Standard, unlimited on Professional).

POS Counter

Both offer counter billing with barcode scanning and thermal receipts. Vyapar lists POS billing in its Retail Pro plan and above.

Counter vs Accounts Desk

TallyPrime is a powerful, comprehensive accounting package and is usually run by an accountant or a trained operator. It does support POS invoices.

Billux is built for shop staff at the counter — POS screen with keyboard shortcuts, barcode scanning and thermal receipts.

Use Both

You do not have to replace Tally if your accountant prefers it.

Yes, for your masters. Billux imports items and parties from Excel/CSV using its import templates. If you can export your item and party lists to Excel from your current software, format them to match the template and upload.
Can I move from Tally to Billux?
You can import your item and party lists into Billux from Excel/CSV. If you want to keep Tally for accounts, Billux exports sales and purchases as Tally XML, so your accountant can continue in Tally.
How does Billux pricing compare?
