Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Billux ("the Software", "our Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all users including those on free trial and paid subscriptions.

2. Description of Service

Billux is a cloud-based GST billing, invoicing, and business management software offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product by Billux Software, India. The service includes:

• GST-compliant invoice and bill generation
• Inventory and stock management
• Party (customer/supplier) management
• POS (Point of Sale) system
• Financial reports including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries
• Multi-branch management (Professional plan)
• WhatsApp invoice sharing and CRM tools

3. Account Registration

To use Billux, you must register with a valid email address, mobile number, and business details. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date business information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion.

4. Free Trial

New users are offered a 15-day free trial with full access to features of the Standard plan. No payment information is required during the trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service. Trial accounts that are not converted to paid accounts will be automatically expired.

5. Subscription and Payment

Billux subscriptions are billed annually. Current pricing:

• Standard Plan: ₹2,500 per year
• Professional Plan: ₹5,500 per year

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions do not auto-renew — you will receive reminders before your subscription expires and must manually renew.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Billux to:

• Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation
• Generate fraudulent invoices or misrepresent GST information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or disruptive content
• Resell or sublicense access to Billux without written permission
• Use the service for any purpose other than legitimate business management

7. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Billux (invoices, parties, items, etc.). We do not claim any rights over your business data. You can export your data at any time using the built-in CSV export feature.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you in the event of a data breach affecting your account.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary service unavailability.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms and Conditions
• Payment is not made after the subscription expires
• We detect fraudulent or abusive use of the service

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.

11. Limitation of Liability

Billux Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from the use or inability to use our service. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

12. Intellectual Property

All software, design, code, and content on Billux is the intellectual property of Billux Software. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our service without written permission.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify registered users via email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
